Booking and Cancellations

You need to make a booking at least 12 hours ahead of time. The same applies for cancellations. Classes should be cancelled 12 hours ahead of time.

I can cancel up to one hour ahead of a class, in unavoidable circumstances. You will receive a credit for this class.

Late for Class

Should you be late for a class, this time will be lost, since other students may well have booked after you. I can only wait for 10 minutes for a 30 minute class. Should you not attend, the class cannot be credited.

Technical Problems

It is the responsibility of the student to make sure they have the minimum connection speed requirements to run a Skype call. Download speeds should be around at least 2.5 – 2.8 Mbps and around 0.5 Mbps or more upload speed.  You can check your speeds on Speedtest. You can also try to sit closer to your router if you are at home or use a cable connection to your router, to stabilise the connection. Please ensure you have a good headset or earbuds with a microphone to ensure a good quality call from whatever device you are using. Please discuss with me, if there are other unavoidable problems like bad weather or towers or servers that are down. This can be checked on Downdetector for your region.


Should you want a mp3 recording, please request it at the beginning of a class. This will be mailed to you using WeTransfer.

Level of English

You need at least a level where you can hold a basic conversation.
